Making sense of millennial life in The Bad Place

Providing a little help dealing with life on the darkest timeline.

Millennials taking pictures of a light show.

What are millennials? Sure, you can say they’re people who arrived on earth sometime between 1981 and 1996. That’s what a quick Google search will tell you. But it doesn’t get at the heart of the matter.

So, for real, who is a millennial?

Someone for whom the miracle of dial-up internet and MySpace suggested a beautiful, connected future. But someone who lived long enough to see the dream of glitter font everywhere and unicorn Trapper Keeper briefcases fizzle out.

That’s probably a little too niche for Google. Let’s try that again.

Millennials are the ‘80s and ‘90s kids who are just doing their damnedest to deal with life the best they can without thinking about how truly insane the world has become—by no fault of theirs.

And until the times get more precedented, Millennosphere is here to help you muddle through this most cursed timeline we call modern life. You’ll find information, ideas, insights, and dumb distractions to ease your (very justified) millennial woes enough to survive today—and make your life a little bit better.

If you’re bitter, but also just so damn exhausted, you’ve come to the right place. We’re glad you’re here.
